Cornhole Rules & Regulations

There are many different ways to play Cornhole and there are even "Official" cornhole rules and regulations. For most people, these are probably way more detailed than needed so here is a basic summary below of the cornhole regulations and rules. If you do, however, want the more detailed descriptions of the game, feel free to visit the ACA site at the link below.

General Rules

-Players stand on opposite sides of the cornhole boards and take turns tossing 8 bags, 4 per team.

-You receive 1 point for on the board and 3 points for in the hole. At the end of the round, you take the NET score and that total is added to the teams running score. Example: Team A has 2 bags on the board and 1 corn hole bag in the hole for a total of 5, while Team B has 1 bag on the board and 1 bags in the hole for a total of 4. In this round, Team A would be awarded 1 point.

-Game play goes to 21 where the winning team must win by 2 points.

-Boards are placed 27 feet apart, measured from the front of the cornhole set.
